JSL Management Chosen As Finalist for Spirit of Enterprise Award
(August 12, 2009) Phoenix, AZ – JSL Management proudly announces its nomination as a finalist for the Spirit of Enterprise Award by the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
JSL Management, owned by Dan and Janet Rush, is the corporate holding company for six organizations in the auto recycling, towing and scrap metal industries. Since the company’s selection by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce as the 2005 Small Business of the Year, JSL Management has continued to double in size for four consecutive years. Much of their growth is attributed to the successful strategy of establishing new entities that align with the company’s core business of recycling, as well as the commitment to the company’s employees. Established in 1991, JSL Management has grown from one auto recycling yard on a 1/3 acre to now operating with more than 200 employees at 22 locations over 150 acres across Maricopa County and one location in Tucson.

Now in its 13th year, the Spirit of Enterprise Award is honoring the best of Arizona businesses working to strengthen our economy and community. The award celebrates entrepreneurial businesses across all industries that embody ethics, energy and excellence in entrepreneurship. This year’s winners are scheduled for announcement during the luncheon ceremony held on Sept. 24 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix.
